These photographs were taken on January 17, 2011 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, at the Perry School Community Center in Washington, DC. The group included elementary and middle school students. Participants used art from donated calendars to cover cardboard "memory" boxes with highlights of a virtual trip that we took together to destinations around the world ...
