This workshop was purchased by Jeff Slavin, the mayor of Somerset, Maryland, who brought ten friends together to explore the avatar theme. The workshop was an auction item to benefit TheatreLab youth programs in Washington, DC (see
http://www.theatrelab.org/about.asp).
The starting point for this workshop is the legend of the Hindu god Vishnu who sent ten avatars, including the Buddha, to represent his desires on earth.
